wrist tattoos hurt
Since I run a very successful site on tattoos and am an expert author for tattoo articles I get asked a lot of questions in general about tattoos. A woman asked me a question the other day and asked if wrist tattoos are popular and if they hurt. I personally do not have a wrist tattoo but my wife does so lets talk about the pros and cons and if indeed it actually hurts.
Are Wrist Tattoos Popular?
In short, yes wrist tattoos are very popular. With owning a site I can look up a lot statistics online and I found that wrist tattoos are searched over 1,500 times a day. If people are searching it is for a reason and more than likely because they want one.
Many assume they would not be popular as it is considered “rebel or trashy” if you do have one but if done correctly and at the right size they can be a very tasteful display of art. The most common wrist tattoo is either star or tribal band and the most popular location is on the bottom side of the wrist. This location ensures that if you have professional job it can easily be hidden as not to affect your career.
Do Wrist Tattoos Hurt?
I was with my wife when she had all her tattoos done and I could tell this was the most painful of all that she had. My wife is a strong person and I did see a tear or two during the session. So yes, they do hurt especially if you get it done on the bottom side of the wrists.
Now before you get scared I asked my wife if the pain was worth it. She told me 100% without a doubt it was. I guess it is like child birth. It hurts but the end result is worth it. Her tattoo looks great and is very tasteful and can be easily covered up with a mid size watch during formal affairs.
So all-in-all wrist tattoos are popular, they do hurt but they are so worth it.
